Hello and thank you for being here! I am so happy you found us in this little corner of the online world.
INDIGO PSAG is my contribution to the community and to parents who are on the path I have been on for almost 20 years as a mom, and 15 years as an educational specialist. I have earned a Master's Degree in Special Education and Educational Leadership. After teaching middle school for 8 years, I moved on to working as a member of a Child Study Team as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant performing educational evaluations, writing and implementing IEPs, and working with families to be sure they understood their child's disability, potential to learn, and assisted with transition services into adulthood. Currently, I serve as the Social Emotional Learning Coordinator at one of the largest high schools in New Jersey, offering students and staff the opportunity to teach about self-awareness, emotional regulation, social awareness, good decision making, and how to build and maintain positive relationships, while running our student wellness center.
After many years of supporting family and friends, I decided it was time to help others advocate for disabilities, and INDIGO PSAG was born. I hope you will reach out if you need assistance from a special education advocate or have questions. Be sure to take advantage of our FREE 20-minute Consultation to see how we can help.
